February — Carnival
Castelldefels Carnival is very participative. Parade of groups through the centre, costume competition and the traditional "Burial of the Sardine". Children have their own parade on Saturday.
April — Sant Jordi (23 April)
The "Catalan Valentine's Day". Book and rose stalls along the Rambla de Castelldefels. It's a beautiful day for strolling and experiencing a unique Catalan tradition.
June — San Juan Eve (23-24 June)
The most magical night of the year. Bonfires on the beach, fireworks, outdoor dinner and midnight swimming. Castelldefels celebrates San Juan with special intensity because the beach is the perfect natural setting.
Tip: book your apartment months in advance for San Juan night. It's one of the most in-demand dates of the year.
July-August — Cultural Summer
Continuous programming throughout the summer:
- Open-air cinema at various locations around town
- Concerts on the beach and at the Castle

September — Diada de Catalunya (11 September)

- Correfoc (fire run with devils) — spectacular

- Closing fireworks on the beach

December — Christmas and markets
Christmas market in the centre, live nativity scene and children's activities. The Three Kings parade (5 January) travels through the centre with floats.
